Addressing climate change
Drakes Renewables expertly delivered a bespoke solar PV installation at 100 Liverpool Street, British Land’s flagship net zero carbon building.
Positioned above one of the UK’s busiest train stations, this project demanded precise execution. Custom-made solar panels and a specialised mounting system were engineered to millimetre accuracy, ensuring seamless integration with the building maintenance unit (BMU), allowing it to glide over the panels without obstruction. This innovative solution highlights Drakes’ capability to meet complex technical and logistical challenges in sustainable energy projects.
We engaged Drakes Renewables for the installation of a solar system at 100 Liverpool Street, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The project presented several challenges, as the system had to be mounted on metal grating and involved custom-made panels to meet the specific requirements of the building. Despite these complexities, Drakes' team delivered a flawless installation within a tight deadline. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and expertise were evident throughout the project. Since then, we've worked with them on a number of other projects, and they have consistently exceeded expectations. We highly recommend Drakes Renewables for any solar installation needs.
