Addressing climate change
Ashford Borough Council selected Drakes Renewables as the Principal Contractor following a public tender process to install Solar PV systems across 26 individual units on a large business park.
The scope of work involved the installation of SolarEdge systems, with each unit receiving a separate electrical connection. A total of 592 kWp of Solar PV has been installed across the site, providing renewable energy to the tenants. As a result, tenants have seen a reduction in their electricity bills, benefiting from lower energy costs while contributing towards the Councils net zero targets.
