Addressing climate change
To satisfy Planning conditions the Client required Solar PV panels on the roofs of 3 Blocks in the exclusive Chelsea Barracks development. The architect insisted that the Solar PV panels would not be visible from public vantage points and panels were integrated into a gravel roof. Solar panels were arranged into a tightly restricted area in a space saving East-West configuration supported by SolarEdge Power Optimisers. Providing power throughout the day the building occupants enjoy reduced electricity bills and have taken out an annual service contract to maintain performance.
