Addressing climate change
Drakes Renewables successfully installed large roof-mounted solar PV systems across four active leisure centres in West Northamptonshire: Brackley, Towcester, Moulton, and Daventry.
Working in partnership with Briggs & Forrester and the local council, Drakes efficiently managed simultaneous installations with minimal disruption to daily operations. These solar systems were designed to significantly cut rising energy costs and support the council’s sustainability goals by reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency across these community-focused facilities.
